# Neon

> Xerg only lists projects and their region.

Neon has no read-only key, so it has the access of the person who made it. Xerg only lists projects and their region.

Only admins and owners can connect services. See [Connecting a service](https://xerg.ai/docs/connect/overview.md) for where to find Connect, refreshing and disconnecting.

## Connect with a key

1. [Open Neon account settings](https://console.neon.tech/app/settings/api-keys)
2. Create a personal API key. For least access, create it as an org member with the Viewer role.
3. Copy the key and paste it into Xerg.

Xerg asks for: API key.
