# Supabase

> Xerg lists organizations and projects with their region and status.

Xerg lists organizations and projects with their region and status. It never reads data, keys or passwords.

Only admins and owners can connect services. See [Connecting a service](https://xerg.ai/docs/connect/overview.md) for where to find Connect, refreshing and disconnecting.

## Connect with a key

1. [Open Supabase access tokens](https://supabase.com/dashboard/account/tokens)
2. Generate a new token. If it offers permissions, give it Read access to the organizations you want mapped.
3. Copy the token and paste it into Xerg.

Xerg asks for: Access token.

## Or sign in with Supabase

Where Xerg offers **Sign in with Supabase**, you can connect in one click instead of making a key.

Xerg's Supabase app asks for: Read on organizations, projects and environment.
