Xerg retired its provider-generated FOCUS importer in version 0.18.0. The feature briefly consumed FOCUS 1.4 CSV and Parquet exports; it never converted Xerg runtime audits into FOCUS. Xerg’s current product is an agent runtime audit. It analyzes the runtime evidence available from OpenClaw, Hermes, QM, Claude Code, Cursor exports, or the generic ingest contract to report cost attribution, identified waste, opportunities, and detector coverage. Runtime costs can be:
  • observed directly in runtime records
  • estimated locally from token usage and Xerg’s pricing catalog
  • unpriced when the source lacks enough economic data
Those totals are not an authoritative provider invoice. Xerg does not currently ingest provider bills, reconcile invoices, or export runtime findings as FOCUS data.

What happens to existing data

  • Xerg never deletes your CSV, Parquet, manifest, or other source files.
  • Legacy local FOCUS snapshots remain untouched and are excluded from runtime lists and comparisons.
  • Historical hosted summaries remain stored under the normal retention policy; they are never reclassified as runtime audits.
  • Active and historical hosted FOCUS readers were retired together. Old detail URLs now show this retirement notice rather than interpreting billing summaries as runtime audits.
Old v4 or v5 clients receive HTTP 410 with code focus_support_retired. Rejected pushes do not consume quota or create sources, audits, daily coverage, Optimizations, Slack deliveries, or activation state.

CLI migration

The temporary 0.18 compatibility message was removed in 0.21. xerg focus is now an ordinary unknown command, and the commonly suggested audit --focus-csv and audit --focus-parquet names are ordinary unknown options; those flags were never supported. Continue with a runtime source instead:
