Is Xerg really free?
Yes. You can run unlimited local audits without an account. A Free account adds a hosted workspace for up to 2 members, 30 days of pushed audit history, and up to 100 stored audit snapshots per month. No payment method is required.
What happens when an audit is more than 30 days old?
It is hidden from a Free workspace, not deleted. Choose a paid band for the same workspace and your full pushed audit history becomes available immediately.
What counts toward the Free monthly limit?
Each new audit snapshot stored in your workspace counts once. Retrying an identical push does not consume another snapshot. The limit resets at the beginning of each UTC calendar month.
How does MAAS billing work?
Your band is based on known, billable agent spend in audits explicitly pushed to Xerg during each UTC month. Free covers up to $2,000, Team up to $10,000, Growth up to $50,000, Scale up to $250,000. Historical imports, duplicate-review spend, and unpriced usage do not count.
Do growing teams have to move to Enterprise?
Team, Growth, and Scale have the same capabilities and no paid member limit. A workspace moves bands as its billable monthly audited agent spend grows. Enterprise begins above $250,000 and requires a custom agreement.
Does Xerg upload prompts or raw provider logs?
Runtime pushes send normalized findings and aggregates, not prompts, completions, or raw provider logs. Xerg audits runtime economics; it does not currently ingest provider billing files or reconcile invoices. Raw ingestion is a separate paid workflow and is never enabled implicitly by Free.
