Xerg Terms
These terms describe the intended public use of Xerg's website, hosted services, and public npm packages.
Public packages
The @xerg/cli package is publicly installable from npm, but it is not open
source. The @xerg/schemas package is the public wire-contract package and is
licensed separately under its MIT license.
Local and hosted use
Local CLI audits and compare workflows can be run without a Xerg account. Hosted dashboard, hosted sync, workspace API keys, and hosted MCP require a Xerg workspace and may require a paid plan.
Data boundaries
Xerg is designed to work with economic metadata. Push payloads exclude raw prompt and response content, local source file paths, and local snapshot storage paths.
