Each time your map is saved, Xerg keeps a compact copy of it for that day (UTC; the last save of the day wins), for 180 days. Only each item’s id, name, kind, status and type line (like “Lambda function”), and the ids of the links between items, are kept: enough to say what appeared, disappeared or got connected.

Asking what changed

Ask Xerg “what changed this week?”, or use what_changed from a coding agent. It lists:
  • items that appeared or disappeared: new services, apps, resources and domains
  • services that became connected or disconnected
You can ask about the last day, 7d, 4w, or since a date. See Ask Xerg and the tool reference.

Repos that leave the map

A repo the GitHub App can no longer see comes off the map. Earlier days in history still have it. Clearing the map doesn’t delete its history either: the daily copies stay for up to 180 days.
Today every workspace keeps 180 days. Once billing is live, how much history a workspace shows will depend on its plan. See Plans.
